Medical Coding & Billing is an industry that is literally dominated by women. According to research by Zippia, there are over 34,626 medical coders currently employed in the United States and 86.8% of them are women. In fact, I was a coder before I founded Coding & Billing Solutions.

Female entrepreneurs and executives are redefining America’s business landscape in very profound ways. According to another survey I recently came across, women represented 49% of startups in the U.S in 2021. This figure is up from 28% just two years earlier in 2019.
